Kisan Kalian Karyashala organized in Lohit District

Tezu, May2: Kisan Kalian Karyshala as a part of Gram Swaraj Abhyan was organised in 2 (two) Block of Lohit District one at Tezu and another at Wakro under the banner of Agriculture Technology Management Agency (ATMA) which active participation from line department. The karyashala at Tezu was attended by local ZPM Smti. Haweli Kri and Wakro was attended by local ZPM as Chief Guest respectively. All total 260 farmers attended/ participated in the Karyashala (157 at Tezu and 103 at Wakro).

The resource person of Agri. and alied department delivered lecture and interacted with the farmers/kishan andsuggested ways and means to achieve the motto of Doubling of farmers income by 2022.

All total 13 (thirteen) progressive farmers (9 at Tezu – Sunpura Block and 4 at Wakro Block) was selected and given award during the programme for their outstanding performance in Agri. and allied sector.

A well organized farmers scientist interaction was also organized during the Kisan Kalyan Karyashala in all the blocks of Lohit District.
