The department of Urban development and Housing,Tezu division is mandated to frame policies,prepare plan and schemes for urban Development activites and creation of urban infrastructure along with maintenance of urban sanitation and solid waste management. Further the department is entrusted with the implementation and monitoring of various poverty alleviation programmes .
